And, to win the hearts of #VizzanoLovers, they are all powerful by coordinating the desired slim heel and on-trend shades such as green and red. As well as options contemplating the metallic ankle lace-up. There is no shoe, which is so must-have as this one!

The beginning of everything

Popularized by Christian Dior in 1947, pumps, or scarpins, are part of the New Look, which aimed to introduce a new fashion among women in the post-war period. The origin of the name comes from the Italian word scarpino, diminutive of the word Scarpa, which means shoe.

In the past, to be considered pumps, the shoes had to have heels between 4 and 10 cm. Today, we have a variety, such as the flare shape (cup) that can have a few centimeters less. In line with women's needs, the beak has also undergone transformations and can be thin, square, or round. But, in general, it is characterized as a closed shoe, which hides the toes and the heel, leaving only the instep exposed.

Pumps used to be seen as a serious fashion item and as the exclusive protagonist of sophisticated occasions, but it has been re-signified according to different moods and styles over the years. In the 60s, for example, thanks to the punk movement, it was combined with destroyed jeans. In the 70s and 80s, the heels were worn with short skirts or tight and colorful pants, involving themselves with the casualness of the time.
