Y2K is an acronym for the Year 2000. In Portuguese, anos 2000 and it emerged on TikTok, although the trend has defined names: Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. It was they who, in that generation, set the trends, being largely responsible for the decade's characterization. With emotions of nostalgia running high, this aesthetic has not gone unnoticed, and among the successors are Dua Lipa and the character Alexa Demie from the series Euphoria. 

 

Where does the desire for metallic come from?
